People of Rajatalab area Pt Ravishankar Ward-24 of Raipur Municipal Corporation today listened to Chief Minister's monthly radio programme with great zeal. Under the shade of banyan tree at Gandhi Chowk, people gathered and listened to the 'Raman Ke Goth' aired by Akashwani Centre Raipur, and also gave their feedback. Ward Corporator Mrs. Lata Chowdhary said that she waits for second Sunday of every month to listen to Raman Ke Goth. This programme informs her about various public welfare schemes of the government. As the radio tuned to Chief Minister's programme was connected to mic, the voice echoed to far-off places, and people could listen to the programme in their houses and shops. Listeners gave their feedback saying that National Youth Festival in Chhattisgarh is a matter of pride. They appreciated the information about state government's initiatives of Aanganbadi Quality Improvement Campaign, employment of additional days under MNREGA in villages, double financial aid under Kanya Vivah Yojana, and other government schemes for welfare of public. People present on the occasion were Mr. Sunil Choudhary, Mr. Ravi Bhongade, Mr. Manoj Barik, Mr. Ram Kosre, Mr. Ramesh Sahu, Mr. Mahesh Mishra, Mitanin Instructor Mrs. Sunanda Dhankar, Mrs. Mamta Tiwari, Mr. Rajeshwari Sorathe, Mr. Parmeshwari Dhimar, Ms, Anita Dhimar, Ms. Anita Dhimar, Mrs. Kunti Jagat, Mrs. Sorathe, and a number of prominent citizens, women and children.
